We are growing! Warehouse Expansion at Massilly North America.

Massilly is in the process of building an addition to our existing facility in Brantford, ON. The addition of new high speed printing and stamping equipment to facilitate the growth of sales has led to a shortage of storage space in our building. We have been keeping a significant portion of our finished goods inventory in third party warehouses around the Brantford area. This has created challenges for our logistics and customer service team, as they work to deliver high quality service to our customers.

Our new warehouse will be a pre-engineered building, connected to our existing facility at the North end of the building. It will be approximately 40,000 square feet, and over 45 feet high. Massilly is aiming to create around 4,000 pallet positions of high density racking. This racked warehouse will be fully automated, utilizing Hyster Automated forklifts to pick up product from our automated packaging line and put it away in the racking. The forklifts will also deliver products from the warehouse to a staging area for shipment.

Massilly worked closely with the City of Brantford planning department to get site plan approval in June, and construction started shortly thereafter. The pre-engineered structure was delivered in August, and the foundations were laid then as well. Our goal is to have the warehouse ready for racking installation by March.
