At Massilly, we are committed to providing sustainable material solutions to help build a better and more environmentally friendly future while contributing value to our global stakeholders.

The use of metal supports the circular economy, meaning it is sustainable to manufacture, consume, dispose of, and recycle. Once metal enters the manufacturing loop, it will always be available for use in the future: it can be recycled multiple times without a loss of quality. Metal recycling rates are climbing across the world, and have reached as high as 90% in some countries. Using highly recyclable packaging such as metal also helps reduce the quantity of single-use packaging that ends up in landfills or the ocean.

Did you know?

• Approximately 80% of all metal ever produced is still in circulation today.
• Once metal is produced it never needs to be downgraded to less demanding uses after it has been recycled. It can take as little as 60 days for a recycled can to return to store shelves as a new can.
• 100% of metal scrap created during the production process is recycled back into production.

Carbon Neutral

We recognize that greenhouse gas emissions account for the majority of our carbon footprint, and we are dedicated to reducing these emissions every year. We do this by measuring our GHG emissions and sharing, if required, as part of our social responsibility reporting.

Waste Reduction

We are dedicated to reducing waste wherever possible. We focus on reducing waste generation by using recyclable materials in our manufacturing process, and we seek to minimize the waste we send to landfills. We reduce waste by sorting and recycling materials and disposing of waste in a responsible manner.

We routinely research the latest sustainability and resource management topics to stay up-to-date.
